Aloha prospective visitor or student:
Homestay is a good way to learn English because that is
all I speak, English. I can help the international student, intern or tourist to improve their English.
I am running a homestay because I believe globally, no matter where we come from, you are the future leaders.
Conversations could be to learn about each other's country and culture etc.
The student has a fair amount of freedom to choose what they want to do while in honolulu. They can learn to try the diverse ethnic foods, to shop or swim,surf or boogie board in Waikiki that is about 5 or 7 minute walk from my place.
I have a washer/dryer to use 1 or 2 times a week or in the backyard I have a laundry line you can use.
I have been hosting students for 15+ years and most all ages or genders.
I think the student, intern or visitor has the choice to clean their room, but the common areas and shared bathroom are expected at least once a week.
The room has a closet, hangers, dresser, table, chair, lamp, extra linens and towels.
No smoking, illegal activities and drugs allowed, but smoking can be done a house away in the bank parking lot please.
No guests allowed and no sleepovers allowed here. Be respectful of too loud noises and sounds. No washing clothes n cooking between the hours of 8am to 8pm. Do not ask me for parking on site because it is already spoken for.
I have been to most of the USA and most of the Hawaiian islands.
I enjoy meeting new people and learning together.
The bus stop is about a minute away and close to Waikiki, colleges and many places that tourist like to visit.
